At just 10 years old and in Year 4, Lucas has already achieved a major milestone in his learning journey: completing the ؛¬ذك²ف English programme.
Lucas remembers starting ؛¬ذك²ف with simple English worksheets that connected basic words with pictures. At first, he relied on those images to understand meaning. For example, when he saw the word â€کcat’ alongside a picture, he could connect the word and its meaning. But when the same word appeared in a book without a picture, he found it more difficult to understand.
Through steady practice, this began to change. Lucas says his skills improved quickly, progressing through ؛¬ذك²ف, and becoming a more capable and confident reader.
“Suddenly I had an insane skill boost,†Lucas says. “I was speeding through all of the levels.â€
Completing the ؛¬ذك²ف English programme is an achievement of which Lucas is proud. He describes the feeling as triumphant, reflecting the commitment required to complete many worksheets and progress through the programme.
Lucas has also seen the benefits of ؛¬ذك²ف at school. In his earlier years, he says ؛¬ذك²ف was more challenging than the work he was doing in class, which helped him excel in English. Later, after changing schools, he found that the skills he was practising in ؛¬ذك²ف were similar to what he was learning at school, helping him feel well prepared.
Lucas believes the reading ability he has developed through ؛¬ذك²ف English will continue to support him in the future. He says strong reading skills will help him understand important information in contracts, job application forms and interviews.
“My current learning at ؛¬ذك²ف can help me understand all of the jargon used in contracts and job application forms and job interviews,†Lucas says.
Looking ahead, Lucas has set a new learning goal of improving in maths. He sees learning as an ongoing challenge, and wants to continue growing and developing.
